Curriculum vitae and professional experience:

Attorney-at-law Mamertas Misiūnas has judging experience of about 20 years.

He started his work as a judge in one of Vilnius district courts and was later appointed as the chairman of the court in the District Court of Molėtai. He taught various legal subjects to students at Law University of Lithuania (currently known as Mykolas Romeris University) and other legal training institutions.

In 1985 he completed first cycle university studies in law at Vilnius University, Faculty of Law.

Practice Areas:

Defense and representation in criminal proceedings. Defense of suspects and defendants in criminal cases – in pre-trial investigation and courts. Representation of victims, civil plaintiffs and civil defendants in criminal proceedings. Representation in courts of general jurisdiction and administrative courts. He specializes in consulting and contract drafting. Settlement of disputes relating to matrimonial property which is the common joint property. He consults on legal regime and division issues, drafts marriage contracts, represents in cases of marriage dissolution and disputes concerning children and establishment of paternity (maternity).
